Which QB2 to start?

Starting Philip Rivers as QB1 in a 2 QB league but have options for #2 with Matty Ryan on bye. League awards 4 pts for QB TDs and -2 for QB INTs.

Chad Henne at home against Buffalo
Shaun Hill at home against St. Louis

I was leaning heavily towards Hill until I saw the Rotoworld writeup on the secondary woes the Bills are having this year

"Chad Henne will debut against an unbelievably shorthanded Bills defense. Buffalo is without three starting DBs (RCB Leodis McKelvin, FS Donte Whitner, and SS Bryan Scott), and fill-ins Drayton Florence, rookie Jairus Byrd, and former WR George Wilson will likely be significant downgrades."

They both face suspect pass defenses this week. Am I over thinking this QB2 decision, or should I throw Henne into the fire?

With the Bills secondary banged up I'd go with Henne. I think the niners will play a pretty conservative run first game. Good luck!
