Will Jermicheal Finley finally live up to the hype?

He is facing the Vikings defense this weekend. Minnesota's defense is good, but it has one weakness....the ability to cover TE's.

Week 1 Minnesota gave up 6 receptions for 74 yards and a TD to Clevelant TE's

Week 2 they gave up 6 receptions for 50 yards to Detroit TE's

Week 3 they gave up 7 receptions for 96 yards and 2 TD's to Vernon Davis.

On average, that's 6.3 receptions for 73.3 yards and 1 TD per game to TE's. If Finley is going to live up to the hype, this may be his best chance thus far. Yes, it may be in Minnesota, but don't forget what Owen Daniels did to them last year in the dome (11 rec for 133 yds) so it can be done.

I'm not saying you should start him, but if you're thinking of dropping him maybe you should wait a couple of days to see if he will suddenly have some trade value.

I actually picked him up in my 16-teamer cause of a Bye week. It was him or Marcedes Lewis, so I figure what the hell, roll the dice on a guy I actually drafted originally...

His only value will be the hope for a td in the red zone out of a 2 te formation. Not a good play in ppr. Theres a high upside in that he could have a 1-2 td game but the down side is incredibly low if he doesnt produce or get the situation.

I think Finley breaks out next year, not next game. The Packers have so many issues along the O-line they need their TE to help in pass protection.

Well... very close game in a dynasty league. I figured no worries, AD and Jennings to go and he only has Finley left... oh well.

Finley won't be a must start until they get rid of Lee.

My main point in starting this thread was that Minnesota has a very hard time covering TE's. This goes back to last season. It is my belief that any TE facing Minnesota is a must start.

For those of you with Finley, you now have a 1 week window to sell high.
