He is facing the Vikings defense this weekend. Minnesota's defense is good, but it has one weakness....the ability to cover TE's.
Week 1 Minnesota gave up 6 receptions for 74 yards and a TD to Clevelant TE's
Week 2 they gave up 6 receptions for 50 yards to Detroit TE's
Week 3 they gave up 7 receptions for 96 yards and 2 TD's to Vernon Davis.
On average, that's 6.3 receptions for 73.3 yards and 1 TD per game to TE's. If Finley is going to live up to the hype, this may be his best chance thus far. Yes, it may be in Minnesota, but don't forget what Owen Daniels did to them last year in the dome (11 rec for 133 yds) so it can be done.
I'm not saying you should start him, but if you're thinking of dropping him maybe you should wait a couple of days to see if he will suddenly have some trade value.
