Dynasty question

Postby dblj9911 » Sat Oct 03, 2009 12:24 pm

So I was just watching ESPN and they had Kiper and McShay on talking about the 2010 draft, they said that this could be one of the deepest drafts in talent in a long time. The reason was the uncertain labor agreement and they think that there will be a rookie salary cap in the 2011 so many of the juniors will come out early.
So with a dynasty league should I beat a few guys to the punch, maybe stockpile as many draft picks as possible for our 2010 rookie draft? Anyone else thinking of the future like I am? Did it once and built my team up to what it is now, my core is young, so I'm in pretty good shape, but always looking to keep my team in good shape.
Roster:(# of starters per week)
QB- ( 1 )Palmer, Eli, Orton, Henne
WR- (3) Fitz, Calvin, Colston, C. Henry, Hixon,
RB- (2) AP, DWill, R. Brown, R.Bush, M.Bush, C. Taylor, Caddy, LJ, Bernard Scott
TE- (1) Dallas Clark, O. Daniels

Thanks, WHIR

I think that might be a good idea.... esp if Crabtree continues to hold out and re-enter the draft?! Def try to stockpile 2010 picks..

Thanks for your help on mine... if you have time I had a follow up question

Thanks for the help. You may be a bit premature in this thought. In my league, we get to keep 1 player from the previous year, this is how I was able to keep Chris Johnson from last year and all I had to do was give up the round I drafted him in the previous year (10). I had somewhat the same thought as you have here. I figured someone could potentially draft a college kid and keep them the entire year. Draft them as a late round pick. In your case, you may want to wait just a bit until a few more college games have been played. Good luck!

With a dynasty league we keep out entire roster each year, we only have a 3 round rookie draft each year, sorry I should have explained it further.
