I AM GOING TO TYPE ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS TO GIVE MY BEST EFFORT TO TALK YOU OUT OF DOING THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING YOU'VE EVER CONSIDERED IN YOUR LIFE. YOU WILL START ANDRE JOHNSON AT WIDE RECEIVER NUMBER ONE THIS WEEK. YOU DO NOT DRAFT A GUY LIKE ANDRE JOHNSON TO SIT HIM AGAINST THE RAIDERS. I DON'T CARE HOW GOOD OF A CORNER THEY HAVE. HE IS BETTER THAN A TOUGH MATCHUP. UNLESS INFORMATION HAS BEEN RELEASED STATING THAT THE OAKLAND RAIDERS WILL BE PLACING 4 DEFENSIVE BACKS ON ANDRE JOHNSON ON EVERY PLAY. THE ONLY TEAM I WOULD BENCH ANDRE JOHNSON AGAINST IS "BYE".
WR #2 is a toss up. I like them both. I'd probably go Hester.
Seems pretty consistent. Andre Johnson is better than all 3 of those receivers so he should put a similar line if not better. Not to mention the Texans D is worse than Oaklands so there will be plenty of passing going on.
I would not start TO right now. The guy is a mess and I don't think Edwards has confidence throwing his way. With Lynch back that game with Miami is going to be smashmouth.
Johnson's career stats vs. OAK 2008: 2 rec. 19 yds 2007: did not play 2006: 1 rec, 9 yds 2005: did not play 2004: 6 rec. 115 yds, 1 TD (Asomugha was 2nd year DB...)
I'm just sayin...last two years these two have squared off...3 rec, 28 yds...
also, asomugha played the first few weeks with a club on his hand, likely hindering his ability to press receivers adaquetly and get his hands on passes...
I wouldn't start T.O. until he shows you something consistent week to week. Johnson is a stud...I don't care if he was shut down 2 of the last 3 times against OAK. Things were different back then than they are now. Schaub seems to be healthy and firing on all cylinders. AJ is better now than he was back then and he's the go to guy. Go with AJ and Hester.

Hester is the no brainer WR2 this week... great matchup, looking awesome.
I agree with the general trend of the posts. While Asumugha is pretty amazing, and Houston has other weapons that they can leverage (Walter, Owens, Slaton), teams have been more willing to challenge him this year, and you just can't bench AJ for TO given how bad TO has been. Add to that that TO is against a Mia team that managed a RIDICULOUS time of possession against Indy and I think you have to think that the chances for TO just won't be there this week.
Seems pretty consistent. Andre Johnson is better than all 3 of those receivers so he should put a similar line if not better. Not to mention the Texans D is worse than Oaklands so there will be plenty of passing going on.
Thanks for the stats! Makes me feel better about starting AJ this weekend. Hoping for a strong weekend since I'm up against a team owner who's projected to score almost the same amount of points and he has Favre, All-Day, and Berrian all starting.
