Sit Romo and play 3 RB's or play Romo with 2 RB's?

Ok, I've 2 choices here....

1) Play Tony Romo and sit one of Ronnie Brown, Steve Slaton and Pierre Thomas.

or

2) Play all 3 backs and sit Romo (we have an offensive utility slot)

Which should I do?

Note: Passing TD's are worth 6 points and we get 1 point every 20 yards. Rushing TD's are worth 6 points as well and we get 1.5 points per 10 yards rushing/receiving and 1 point per reception.
1.5 points per 10 yards rushing/receiving
1.0 points per 20 yards passing
6.0 points per TD (all positions)
1.0 points per 10 return yards

Interesting league... Might have to think about doing that to mine next year. I think I'd go with option 1 and bench Thomas against the Jets defense. I love Thomas, just not this week.

Good Luck

Thanks.

What part did you find interesting? I made those settings (6 point passing TD's, 1 point per 20 yards passing and 1.5 yards every 10 yards rushing/receiving) because it makes QB's, RB's and WR's virtually equally important.

In our top 20 scorers right now, we have 7 RB's, 5 QB's, 6 WR's and 2 TE's. Makes things very even and allows many different strategies to play out.

Wow, tough decision. I have a hunch that Romo rebounds today, mildly, like 240 yds and 2 TDs as Dallas wins in Denver. I woud guess that would probably be superior to what Thomas will give you, but not by much. I think I would keep Romo in there, sit Thomas, and hope that Slaton has a better game this week,.

Peace,

I like the offensive utility spot, I just have flex WR/TE and RB/WR/TE... Haven't put a QB in with those flex spots before. Change the whole draft logic, I like it.

Thanks for the help with mine!

Gotta agree with what's been said so far. I'm not crazy about Romo's game but he should be good for more points than Thomas.

Good luck!
