Several options at WR/RB this week...WHIR

Postby Chug61 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 8:19 am

My league uses 3 WR, 2 RB and 1 W/R. Randy Moss and Colston are my first 2 WRs for sure, but I have a bunch of viable options for the other 4 spots.

Manningham vs KC
Ray Rice vs NE
McFadden vs Hou
Kevin Walter vs Oak
Ahmad Bradshaw vs KC
Moreno vs Dal
Sims-Walker vs Ten

Right now I have Rice, DMC, Manningham, and Walter in, but I could make a case for all of the 3 on the bench to be playing too. Any advice?

And leave a link!

I'd go towards Bradshaw, DMC, Walter and Sims-Walker... The Giants should pound the ball all game. Don't like McGahee stealing goal line from Rice. It's flip a coin between DMC and Moreno though.

Good Luck

I like Moreno and Bradshaw at your RB slots. I just think the Giants are going to put it down on KC and will give Bradshaw plenty of PT. Moreno's stats have improved every week so far. For your other WR slot, I like Sims-Walker for sure. So that leaves your RB/WR slot, right? ESPN is projecting McFadden to break out this week, but I just don't see it. He hasn't done jack yet this year. Rice might get you 50-60 yards, but he gets his TD's stolen, so I would go with Walter instead.

Help with mine:

1.5 points per 10 yards rushing/receiving
1.0 points per 20 yards passing
6.0 points per TD (all positions)
1.0 points per 10 return yards

Thanks for the advice - I'm thinking I'll bench DMC and Rice.

Anyone else have some input?
