Crappy WR options this wk....need help....WHIR as always

Postby 16FAC » Sun Oct 04, 2009 9:55 am

6PTS/TD......1PT/20yds.....no PPR
I have Colston in and I know he is facing Revis which will be tough to say the least but Deshean Jackson is on bye and I think its a better option thatn TJ Housh. with Wallace slinging and facing the Toughest passing D in Indy.

I also have Holt in who has a good matchup and Garrard is looking his way as much as Walkers but he is a little old. Still a better option than Housh. Plus, Housh has just pretty much sucked lately.

Waiver Wire options= Earl Bennett, Sidney Rice, Donnie Avery, Isaac Bruce,

leave a link and as always I'll hit yours.

I don't like the matchup, but you have to go with your best player. Colston should never touch your bench outside of a bye week, not with Drew Brees throwing the ball like he has been this year.

Little help? http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=452126

I would stick with Colston. Revis is doing an amazing job on these WR' this year. But you don't appear to have the depth to bench him.

And the best option on the waivers would be Bruce. He faces a horrible Rams defense. But he is nothing more then a very low #2 or solid #3 option.

Never bench Colston...

So I think the question is Housh or Holt.......I like Housh.....he's gotta do something....maybe this is the week...

Ah, the Revis effect. I agree with you 100%. The Jets are going to blitz Brees like crazy, and Revis will take Colston out of the equation. I'm not a Housh fan this year, and agree that I wouldn't start him. That said, the Saints will likely try and get him the ball with their pick system anyways...and he's far and away your best receiver available.

I'd start him ahead of any of the guys listed, included the waiver guys. Bennett peaks my interest, especially against the Lions, who gave up a monster game to Moss.

Thanks for the help...

Colston, easily. No one else on your list has near the upside, and you would want to kill yourself if you missed a good day from him.

Help with mine?

Thanks for the help on mine...prolly not gonna add much to the discussion here, but I agree with everyone else...I would not sit Colston especially not for Holt or Housh right now.
