They were rated as the #1 or #2 Fantasy Football defenses this year.

I think they have been one the biggest disapointments for Fantasy Football terms.

Without Tory Polamalu, they can't really generate any fantasy football points this year.


Had to get that off my chest!! I hope they can turn it around against the lions.

Yet another reason why you never spend a high draft pick on a fantasy defense...every year there is that "sure thing" that people take high and it rarely works out well.

I typically try and grab a top 5 because I figure you have just as much of a chance to get a #1 D as the guy who spent an early pick on Pitt. There was one league (mandatory 2 d's on roster at all times) where I got screwed by waiting. There is noone available on the WW because of the stupid rule. But for the most part there is too much change from year to year to predict who will be best.

I did try and grab Pitt early in a Best ball league. Thankgoodness I swooped up San Fran in the final round to be sure to have a solid performer every week.
