Tough QB call Warner or Shaub? WHIR!!

Postby stvmcd » Tue Oct 06, 2009 3:16 pm

Ok I'm relenquishing my guru status that I gained by sitting Colston and MJDrew and winning last week.

This is a tough QB call. Is Warner ready to break out? Or will Shaub carve them up?

Tough call. I gotta lean towards Schaub on this one because of their opposing pass D's. Houston is ranked 9th and Arizona is next to last. I don't think you can go wrong either way but I'd put in Schaub.

It's going to be a shoot-out, and I think both will have good days. Very tough call. I'm going with Warner, because a) I recently traded for him and this is the first time he's starting for my team, and b) it's at Arizona, so hopefully he feels like going the extra mile and winning at home.

I wouldn't be surprised to see both of them have 300+ yard days with a few TDs, so start either with confidence.

not a fan of shaub. i don't see him as consistent. warner really is a good QB. if his team can get their act together he will have an awesome season. i'd start warner.

here's mine

Schaub I think. Texans have a decent pass rush and that has been the Achilles' heel for the Cardinals.

Can't go wrong either way but I think Schaub will have a better day vs. a weaker pass def.

I have the exact same problem and I'm going with Warner. The reason is I have 2 Texans (Walter/Daniels) and 2 Cardinals (Warner/Fitzgerald) and look for this to be one of those 42-35 type games. I really don't want to have 3 texans in the lineup just in case it turns into a defensive game, relatively speaking.

Either one should be good. Flip a coin.
