Hey all.....I have the biggest and most important question to ask of to date!

I am in a 12 Team Standard scoring H2H IDP league with PPR (2pts per reception) We don't have a traditional Waiver Wire but what we do have is a Supp draft that we hold after weeks 4 and 8 in where we have 2 picks each. The order of the draft is determined by our record and unfortunatly I am the only one in the league who is 0-4 so far!!! (my team has been less than stellar and I need help)

Considering I have the 1st pick in the Supp draft then the best available guy is most likely M. Sims-Walker who surprisingly has been on fire and is actually the #3 WR in the league over the last 3 weeks (1 point behind DJAX for 2 place) over the likes of Fitz and AJ, etc.....

***The question is......I have Forte on a bye week this week and only have 2 "real" RB's and need another RB somehow. Someone in the league offered me his R.Rice (or J.Harrison) and S.Smith (CAR) for both of my Supp picks and an IDP (Mario Williams DL)***

S.Smith(CAR) has been less than stellar but has had 1 great game and is a known prodigy. I do absolutely need a RB for this week (other bye weeks and injuries) and there is no RB on the WW (Caddy is the only one and he would go before my 2nd pick) and as far as other players....it's pretty bare except for (Favre/Kolb/MSW/Manningham/Burleson/IDP's) so this would work out to my advantage greatly otherwise I go with Ward or No 2nd RB this weekend!

How much faith does everyone have in S.Smith (CAR) for the season and even R.Rice???

I actually dont think I would do it. Delomme sucks and i think carolinas only hope is their running backs. Steve Smith of Carolina is not THE Steve Smith anymore. In my opinion that honor belongs to the guy on the giants. As far as Rice, I like him but with whats happening with Mcgahee taking goaline im not sure if thats enough of a factor to make this deal. I dont know too much about IDPs so I cant comment on Mario...

So......I have one person that says to stay put and one that says to make the trade!!! Anyone want to be the tiebreaker???

Also, since J.Brown (K) has sucked and put up negative points all year I might ask him to also throw in a kicker....what do you think about that?

I think I'd take the trade with Rice/Smith. Everyone always has the same concerns over Smith, and I do too, but he always manages to be at the top of the WRs at the end. He'll have a few duds, and then explode for a few games. Like clockwork.

And Rice is good for at least 10 per game in a timeshare. You know Willis is going down at some point. You KNOW it's coming.

Sims-Walker is great so far, but I look at him more as a sell high candidate. He may keep it up, but he may drop off completely. Nobody knows with this guy. He has no track record. Too big of a risk for me to pass up on Smith and Rice.

I would take the trade, I like Steve Smith over Sims-Walker, then you get Rice for Mario Williams. You also will have a better chance to win this week and thats pretty important when your 0-4. take the trade.

So......the trade went through....

I actually traded both my Supp picks and Mario Williams (DL) for S.Smith(CAR), R.Rice, M.Crosby and S.Roger(DL)

so....I think this worked out better! (especially since J.Brown was getting me negative points and killing me)!!!
