So I have MJD as my number one, do I sit Steven Jackson vs. the Vikings in favor for Mendenhall against the Lions? I am always, 100% against sitting your studs, but based on the matchup and depending on whether Parker can go or not I'm thinking Mendenhall is the right choice for week 5.
This isn't even close. The whole start your studs theory MUST be thrown out the window here. As long as Mendy is starting you need to play him. Vikes will shut down Jackson.
I think the Rams should just start Jackson at QB and put another back in to block for them at least his blocking would be better. So on that note if Mendenhall is starting him Jackson needs to be on the bench this week.
for sure mendenhall. a stud can't help it if he is on a terrible team. i definitely do not abide by the don't sit your studs motto. you have to play the match ups IMO.

QB: Matt Stafford WR: Roddy White WR: Pervcy Harvin WR: Jeremy Maclin RB: Chris Johnson RB: Reggie Bush TE: Anthony Gonzales K: Gostkowski DEF: Baltimore
BENCH: Peyton Hillis, Anquan Boldin, Ryan Williams, Mario Manningham, James Jones, and Robert Turbin
Absolutely agreed which is why I'm benching Michael Turner this week and playing Mendenhall instead. He's gonna light it up methinks.
