sitting Brady?? QB RB help!! WHIR!!

Postby boy1dur » Wed Oct 07, 2009 10:36 am

I am losing by mere points every week and seriously need some help.

1 for QB - I have Brady @ DEN, and Garrard @ SEA. I'm seriously thinking about sitting Brady regardless of what the "guru's" say because this league is .5pts for every 10 yards passing, 4 pts for passing touchdowns, 1pt for 10 yds rushing. In terms of points I think Garrard would fair better since Denver did a good job shutting Romo down last week and Brady still not being up to par. Let me know if you think I'm crazy.

choose 2 for RB - I have Ronnie Brown vs. NYJ, Willis McGahee vs. CIN, Addai @TEN, and Deangelo Williams vs. WAS. No idea who to put in as they all are pretty consistent. no ppr. 1 point per 10 yds and 1.5 points per 10 yds receiving

WHIR!! THANKS!

Right now Garrard is on fire and going against Seattle is a very attractive matchup. You gotta play him this week. Denvers defense is for real and Brady may have a tough go of it.

Brown - NYJ defense is also for real but PT pretty well lit them up last week and he's sharing carries with R. Williams
McGahee - Play if you're only interested in TD's
Addai - Even split right now with Brown and is beginning to lose carries to him
Williams should get majority of the carries and would be the short yardage guy.

end result, Brown or Williams with a slight nod to Williams

Personally, I couldn't bring myself to sit Brady... Garrard against Seattle, might just have to.

I'd go with Williams and McGahee. Washington is just terrrible and I think Baltimore is going to cut up Cinci early and then run the ball the rest of the way. Meaning McGahee is set up to pilfer a lot of carries from Rice and vulture TD's.

Addai is splitting everything pretty much down the middle and Brown against NYJ is a tough start considering you have RB facing weaker teams.
