LT deal... WHIR 100%

Postby bazzy_51 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 3:23 pm

14 team h2h Keeper league. Keep 7 year to year
Scoring- standard 25pass/10rush/10rec yard per pt, 25Ret yard per pt, 4 per pass TD, 6 a piece for Rec/Rush/Ret TD, -2 per INT, -2 per fumble.
Positions - QB, 2WR, 2RB, TE, W/T, W/R, K, DEF, 2D, 2DB, 2LB

Roster:
QB-Romo
WR-TO
WR-Pierre Garcon
RB-MJD
RB-Addai
TE-Witten
W/R-Andre Caldwell (nice flex start given we count Ret yards)
W/T-Lee Evans
BN- Devery Henderson, Chester Taylor, Mark Sanchez, Torry Holt, Fred Taylor, Shonn Greene
K-Kris Brown
DEF-Cleveland
2D- Eric Barton, Ricky Brown
2DB- Antoine Bethea, Bryan Scott (possible drop)
2LB- Larry Foote, James Laurinaitis

Trade offered to me:
I give: Lee Evans and Shonn Greene
I get: LaDanian Tomlinson, Bobby Wade, Chris Henry (WR-CIN)

His roster:
QB- Philip Rivers
WR-Fitz, Chris Henry, Wade, Colston, Massaquoi
RB- Moreno, MeMo, LT, Mendy, Michael Bush, Graham
TE- Greg Olsen
K- Scobee
DEF-San Fran

Do I do this deal and just hope that LT shows some life and then trade him back to a contender later on in the year? (right now im sitting 0-4 and getting PUNISHED each week, I took this team over in the offseason so didn't have much to work with) I'm really leaning towards taking this as I think its great value for me, the best player in the deal I would get in LT and the 2nd best player is the #2 WR on Buffalo in Evans. My WR aren't stacked or anything, but with picking up a surprise in Garcon it has helped my squad. If you don't think I should do this think up a deal with his roster? (guy is really looking to move LT). If you would do the deal who would you drop to complete the deal?

Who to drop then if I do the deal? Chester Taylor (would have been my solid pick to drop, but after the GB game I'm not so quick to with AP looking like he got dinged up a bit) or Fred Taylor or Torry Holt?

I would accept that trade. Just move Caldwell to the W/T flex and put LT in there at the W/R flex. Clear upgrade to your roster. I'd drop Holt.

Ok all I've now decided that its a good deal and I'm taking it. But now the 2nd part of 'the deal', who do I drop to do the deal? Chestery, Torry, Fred?

Thanks for the help on mine. I'd drop Fred Taylor - NE is a different flavor every week. Chester has big time value if ADP goes down and Holt does if MSW reverts back to being injured.
