Steve Slaton For Carson Palmer + Santana Moss

In a non ppr league i was going mad trying to pick up a player this week through trades.

My team is

QB: Eli manning, brett favre, carson palmer
RB: Chris Johnson, Matt Forte, Jerome Harrison
WR: Calvin Johnson, Desean Jackson, Santana Moss, Dwayne Bowe, Donald Driver
TE: Dustin Keller
K: Joe Nedney
DST: Saints

My problem this week was bye weeks. Forte and Saints are both off on byes. I managed to pick up jerome harrison on waivers but that would only be a short term problem. With still needing to pick up a DST for this week I didn't want to drop the saints given their prolific scoring atm, which meant i would probably need to drop a wr or make a 2 for 1 trade.

So i shopped around and realising i needed to improve my RB core I offered trades to every team who had a half decent rb (Peterson, Westbrook, Gore, Slaton, Grant, Jones-drew, Turner, etc). And i just got accepted on the slaton pickup.

Was this a good trade given i needed to get a trade sorted or drop a player to pick up a DST.

I think overall value thats a great deal for your squad for 2 simple reasons. 1. you have great QB depth and 2. you have even better WR depth. This also adds great value to your RB core. Nice deal!
