Boldin for Flacco? WHIR

Postby tonynyy » Wed Oct 07, 2009 4:53 pm

I've been offered Anquan Boldin for Joe Flacco in a 10-team-ESPN PPR Keeper league. I already have Aaron Rodgers, so I don't really need Flacco right now, but Rodgers is on his bye this week. My WRs right now are C. Johnson, Welker, S. Smith (NYG), Kevin Walter, and Julian Edelman (I added him in case Welker was inactive). His other receivers are A. Johnson, MSW, Berrian and Evans. Should I go ahead and make the deal, should I ask for more, or should I flat out say no?

Thanks

I would take that deal, especially in a PPR. Who is available to cover Rodgers' bye week from waivers?

help me out?

Orton, Campbell, Stafford, the usual suspects, nothing too exciting :P

Go for it and grab Orton for the week. You probably won't start him the rest of the season after this week. So actually if you could end up delaying the deal until next week then do that. Maybe have him send it then accept it Sat or Sun so it goes through next week

Go for it for sure. QB's aren't worth as much in a PPR anyway, and if you can't start him, it's a no-brainer.

Definitely take that deal. Then play the matchups to find a bye week replacement for rodgers.

Help please

The thing is, I already have Calvin Johnson, Wes Welker and Steve Smith (NYG), and I only start 3 WRs. I'd basically be spot starting Welker, Smith and Boldin, so is it still worth it, especially since Flacco is good insurance for Rodgers who plays behind a horrible O-line?
