3 for 1 trade help! WHIR!

Postby mjoyce103 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 4:56 pm

I was recently offered:

Jerome Harrison (RB - CLE), Mohamed Massaquoi (WR - CLE), and Vernon Davis (TE- SF)

for my:

Ronnie Brown (RB - MIA)

I normally wouldn't consider a 3 for 1 but it appears Harrison will pretty much be the starter from here out and Massaquoi should be the #1 with Edwards gone. Of course, they both play for the Browns, which is not a good thing.

Here's my current roster:

QB
Aaron Rodgers
(GB - QB)
WR
Calvin Johnson
(Det - WR)
WR
Mario Manningham
(NYG - WR)
WR
Kenny Britt
(Ten - WR)
RB
Chris Johnson
(Ten - RB)
RB
Ronnie Brown
(Mia - RB)
TE
Chris Cooley
(Was - TE)
K
Nick Folk
(Dal - K)
DEF
Baltimore
(Bal - Def)

BN
David Garrard
(Jac - QB)
BN
Davone Bess
(Mia - WR)
BN
Eddie Royal
(Den - WR)
BN
Anthony Gonzalez -OUT
(Ind - WR)
BN
Glen Coffee
(SF - RB)
BN
Chris Henry
(Cin - WR)
BN
Michael Bush
(Oak - RB)

Tough one, do you think you could get anything else instead of Vernon Davis, since you have Cooley and he's pretty solid?

This guy's trying to give you 3 guys he got off waivers for a stud. I wouldn't make any assumptions about how good Massaquoi and Jerome are going to be based on one week. Not worth it to you, esp since you don't need the added depth. Pass on this deal.

Well...here's his roster: His post on the wall said "Vernon Davis plus any RB other than Jackson for an upgrade at RB2" so it kind of sounds like Davis needs to be a part of it, but I'm in 1st and he's in 10th out of 12, so he can deal with a counter! ;)

QB
Matt Schaub
(Hou - QB)
WR
Randy Moss

WR
Mike Sims-Walker
WR
Wes Welker
(NE - WR)
RB
Steven Jackson
(StL - RB)
RB
Ahmad Bradshaw
(NYG - RB)
TE
Dallas Clark
(Ind - TE)
BN
Darren McFadden
(Oak - RB)
BN
Earl Bennett
(Chi - WR)
BN
Donald Brown
(Ind - RB)
BN
Leon Washington

I would stick with R Brown. You aren't in that bad of shape where any of those guys are going to make your team much better. I'd basically never accept 3 for my 1 unless my team was completely decimated and I really really needed a W to cash in the league.

Those are all sell high guys. You can't really start them, but Ronnie will put up numbers every week. Skip it.

quick look?
