There's always some funny ones coming out. Here's one:

According to ESPN blogger Mike Sando, the Rams will "almost certainly" hold Marc Bulger (shoulder) out in Week 5 against Minnesota.
Bulger threw some in Wednesday's practice, but Kyle Boller took the first-team quarterback reps. "We’re trying to take it easy and not make certain throws," coach Steve Spagnuolo said of Bulger's practice work. "He looked OK." They'd much rather let Boller get rag dolled by Jared Allen on Sunday.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will wear a bulky wrap on his right hand after fracturing a finger in Week 3.
Coach Ken Whisenhunt didn't seem too concerned about the wrap affecting DRC's ability to catch the ball: "He hasn't been able to catch, it didn't seem like, the first couple of games, so I don't know."

Brett Favre-QB- Vikings Oct. 8 - 4:28 pm et

Vikings owner Zygi Wilf wants Brett Favre to return for the second year of his contract in 2010.

"I would love him to; why not?" Wilf said. "That's what we signed him up for." It had widely been assumed that Favre's latest comeback was a one-and-done deal. With Favre and Vikes still in their honeymoon period, 2010 is starting to look like a possibility. Get ready for another offseason of "Favre Watching." Poor Rachel Nichols of ESPN will never get off his front lawn.
