WR for RB Help WHIR

Postby deepseacole » Wed Oct 07, 2009 7:13 pm

I play in a PPR league 2 RB 2 WR and a RB/WR FLEX here is my current inventory of both

RB's:
T Jones
M Moore
M Jones-Drew
T Hightower
J Harrison
J Addai

WR's
S Smith
M Sims-Walker
D Bowe
E Bennett
P Crayton
M Massaquoi

My question is should I drop P Crayton and pick up L Betts as a handcuff to Portis or keep my current roster?

I wouldn't waste a huge WW priority, but I think it's a safe bet. Though I haven't liked what I've seen from Betts or any of Washington's offense I think he'd be forced to get 20 plus touches a game if something happens to Portis.

I really dont think you need to make that move. You seem set at both positions.

Thanks for your help

Thanks for the help on mine....

Now, I personally like trying to snag handcuffs of featured backs IF I have the room to stash them. In this case, I don't see Crayton as a big loss. Washington's playoff scheudle of Oakland, NYG, Dallas vs. the run is good as well, so why not? -especially since Betts can catch passes in a PPR. Is Leon Wahington on the wire? I think he'd be a better handcuff? I only ask becausae I'm in a small league this year so I don't know how scarce the wwires are in standard 10-12 team leagues...

I didn't post that, I just asked if there was a better handcuff available, although I would add that I agree if you lose your WW priority, forget it...

To answer a question Leon Washington is not on the wire and I have T Jones, the guy that has Portis has Washington so that is the main reason I'm thinking about picking him up, he has me cuffed with LW.

I think its a safe pickup. Dont waste waiver priority for it though.

Thanks for helping with mine.

I'm not drawn to that idea enough to do it. I would keep it the way it is.
