serious bye week issues + some great WW opportunities WHIR

First off, his week I have five of my starters on bye. My team...

Aaron Rodgers - bye
Randy Moss
Calvin Johnson
Vincent Jackson - bye
DeAngelo Williams
Rashard Mendenhall
Antonio Gates -bye
Nate Kaeding - bye
Green Bay - bye

Antonio Bryant
Patrick Crayton
John Carlson
Darren McFadden
Shaun Hill
Tennessee

It's a 12 man league (ppr) and I am in first place by a game. Now to deal with this week I just dropped Matt Hasselbeck for Shaun Hill because it doesn't sound like his injury is getting any better. Was that a bad move? Other QBs out there were Seneca Wallace and Mark Sanchez. I also need a kicker to start this week. I guess it doesn't really matter which one I take because a kicker is a kicker. As I see it, I have two options. I can drop Kaeding for a different kicker, but he is considered one of the better kickers fantasy wise and he might be taken by another team before I could grab him back.

My other option is to drop Darren McFadden for a kicker this week. Then when this week is over I would drop the extra kicker for some of the great names I see sitting on the WW like Anthony Gonzalez, LeSean McCoy, Visanthe Shiancoe, Donnie Avery, Bernard Berrian, and perhaps Larry Johnson. Now I am very shallow in Rb and extremely deep with WRs and TEs but some of the wide outs are to good to let pass. I really like the idea of stashing Gonzalez. Should I drop DMC for one of those names now and just deal with a kicker switch or should I try and keep a better kicker and wait a little longer? Is there any other switches I should make on my team for some one on the ww like Crayton or one of my DEF?

Thanks for the help!

Ok.....here is what I would do:

I would definately drop DMC! He will be out of action for 4-6 weeks and the dude couldn't even run on Houston!!! (That's bad) and Oak is just a washed up team! so....drop DMC and grab a kicker for this week then drop the kicker next week and grab a WR or RB (I would grab Gonzo after this week as I don't see anybody running for him just yet since he has a couple more weeks to go) I would also drop Bryant and/or Crayton and grab McCoy first since he will see good carries the rest of the season even with Westy here and Westy will miss a ton of time in the rest of the season skyrocketing McCoy's value even more. I would also "think" about grabbing Avery since he is healed now and is the starter again! I loathe the Rams sorry team but he might be good if the passing game improves!

I haven't really taken a look at Carleson (TE) but I think he is not doing well so I also might think about grabbing Vishancoe as well!

ad as far as the QB question....S.Hill isn't bad and is one of the pickups this weeks so I don't think you can go wrong with him and/or I also like Sanchez too.

Good Luck!

I would drop McFadden, Kaeding, and even maybe GB defence in a heartbeat. Also TEN D not looking great at all this year without Haynesworth. NEVER keep a kicker on a bye. NEVER. You are in fine shape. I would actually take Sanchez over Hill.

Help with mine??? viewtopic.php?t=453263
