Crabtree worth a wavier Pick up?

Postby Kitna98_99 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 10:12 pm

I could drop Bennett for chicago to pick up Crabtree. Do you think he will be a good WR this year in the SF offence!

I think I would do it! He just signed, SF needs help in the air attack and S.Hill has looked pretty good. I think Crabtree is a Boom or a Bust and I would take the chance on Boom absolutely!

Go For it.....Bennett won't be a high cost for a good gamble!

Good Luck!

I don't think he will do anything this year.. he doesn't know the playbook.. he hasn't practiced .. I think it is a waste

agree with WhipperSnappers that it is a Boom or Bust, won't pay off for 3-4 weeks at least though. As long as he isn't starting you should go for it

its gona be a waste of time. who knows if hes even in football shape and he hasnt even studied the playbook either. rookie recievers dont typically do good even when they participate in all off season activity

I'd do it. Bennet isn't doing you much sitting on your bench and Crabtree *might* become worth starting by playoff time. It's a big IF but we already know that Bennet won't likely be worth starting then.

help with mine? http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=453214

Bennett is useless. I'd roll the dice for sure.

Well if this move does pay off it wouldn't be until late in the season. Right now they have a two week roster exemption for him and he will most likely see some time after there bye week next week. Even then he is so far behind it will take him another month to get up to speed with the offense and the speed of the NFL. So to me if he does do anything it won't be until the end of the season, but then I don't think he will be a reliable option. With all of that being said I do like him more than Bennet, he hasn't done anything and Crabtree has much more upside. Good luck.
