Would you veto this trade?

Postby rousea24 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 10:45 pm

Before I get started, this is not my trade but I am in the league where this trade has been accepted. Our commish hasn't ruled on it yet, but the decision is his to make. It's not up to a league vote.

Team A's core offensive roster:
QB's: D. McNabb, K. Kolb, J. Campbell
RB's: S. Jackson, R. Brown, B. Jacobs, D. Ward
WR's: H. Ward, M. Manningham, J. Gage, D. Hester

Team B's core offensive roster:
QB's: T. Romo, S. Hill, M. Sanchez, K. Orton
RB's: A. Peterson, J. Jones, Ricky Williams, C. Smith
WR's: Andre Johnson, R. Wayne, N. Washington, P. Crayton, A. Caldwell

Here are the starting spots they can be put into:
QB:
RB:
RB:
RB/WR:
WR:
WR:
Off. Utility:

Here is the trade that has been accepted:

Team A gets:
Julius Jones
Patrick Crayton

Team B gets:
Ronnie Brown
Brandon Jacobs

1) If you were in our commish's shoes, would you veto this trade?
2) If you were an owner in this league and if it was up to a league vote, how would you cast your vote?

Interested to hear opinions...
1.5 points per 10 yards rushing/receiving
1.0 points per 20 yards passing
6.0 points per TD (all positions)
1.0 points per 10 return yards

I am a commish and I would veto. Team B loads up with potentially 3 top 5 RB. I'd say No. JJ is on and Off and is currently a #9 RB in my league and Crayton's value only is based on Roy Williams missing significant time.
