Week 5 RB and WR help

Postby boianski » Wed Oct 07, 2009 11:59 pm

Non PPR league, standard yahoo scoring 12 teams, 1 qb, 3 wr, 2rb,...

So I have Vincent Jackson, Matt Forte, Johny Know all on bye weeks and need to plug some holes.

Right now my starters at WR are:

Steve Smith (NYG - WR) Vs Oak
Steve Smith (Car - WR) Vs Was
Pierre Garcon(Ind - WR) @Ten

options:
Braylon Edwards (NYJ - WR) - @Mia; bench
Jacoby Jones (Hou - WR) - @Ari; Waiver wire
Antonio Bryant (TB - WR) - @Phi; Free agent

Starters at RB

Ronnie Brown (Mia - RB) - @Mia
Willie Parker (Pit - RB) - @Det (doubtful)

Options
Aaron Brown (Det - RB) Vs Pit; free agent
Chester Taylor (Min - RB) @Stl; free agent
Mewelde Moore (Pit - RB) @Det; free agent

What do you think? Should I stick with this?

Fast Willie won't be playing @ DET, Mendenhall is the starter
I'd probably go with Chester Taylor as he'll get the garbage carries while Peterson and Company rest with a 30 point lead

WRs starters look fine
2009 Winner - 12 Man Yahoo PPR League "We will mock you" - MVP - Phillip Rivers
2009 Winner - 12 Man Yahoo PPR League "Do dirties" - MVP - Joe Flacco
2009 Runner-Up - 14 Man Yahoo PPR League "Posse 4 Life" - MVP - MJD

Everything looks good except parker... Also I would also think about picking up Antonio Bryant from free agency.. Last year he really showed what a great receiver he can be.. With a new QB in he scored his 1st TD, he would be good backup with Braylon..
help plz
