Guy wants Braylon bad.. what should I ask for? WHIR 100%

Postby clarkw267 » Thu Oct 08, 2009 12:03 am

A guy has been asking me about Braylon Edwards non stop ever since he's been traded. He asked me "What will it take to get him". So I think I can aim a little high. What should I ask for?

This is a dynasty league so I can keep all my players as long as I'm under the cap.

I'm thinking of starting with this ...

I give: B Edwards ($6)
I get: Mendenhall ($1), Crabtree ($1) and his 2nd round pick next year. Too much? Not enough? What would you ask for?

My Team
QB - Schaub ($9)
RB - Turner ($26)
RB - Jacobs ($17)
WR - Fitzgerald ($22)
WR - Edwards ($6)
WR - Hester ($4)
TE - Keller ($6)
K - Prater ($1)
DEF - NYG ($2)
BN - Sanchez ($1)
BN - R. Williams ($1)
BN - N Washington ($3)
BN - S Rice ($1)

His Team
QB - Warner ($14)
RB - Barber ($17)
RB - K Smith ($14)
WR - Colston ($17)
WR - S Moss ($4)
WR - Berrian ($5)
TE - Cooley ($5)
K - Reed ($1)
DEF - NYJ ($2)
BN - Cutler ($8)
BN - Mendenhall ($1)
BN - R Bush ($9)
BN - Choice ($1)
BN - Crabtree ($1)
BN - Collie ($1)

If you can get that, I think it's a good gamble on your part. I'd probably even accept it without the 2nd round pick.

Somehow I don't see Braylon being the #1 in NY this year. Not a huge loss on your part.

I like your offer, especially if you guys start a WR/RB flex position. Mendenhall is good for the flex spot and... while I don't expect much from Crabtree this year, he could have some potential next year... throw in the 2nd round pick and it looks good for you. Losing Edwards isn't gonna hurt you that much.

I'd do that. You're set up nicely for next year and Braylon is a headcase.

PLEASE!!! Help with mine??? viewtopic.php?t=453263
