Here are my options at running back since Pierre Thomas is on a bye.
Jonathan Stewart @ WSH LeSean McCoy @ TB
The only decent free agents available are: Derrick Ward @ PHI and Beanie Wells @ HOU.
Let's hear some of your opinions. I know none of my options are very good since Jonathan Stewart and the Panthers haven't exactly been serviceable this year, Beanie fumbling the ball, and Derrick Ward being hurt - I'm leaning towards McCoy right now just since Westbrook has been dinged up and he could get a few extra carries since TB is so terrible.
QB: Ben Roethlisburger WR: Calvin Johnson WR: Dez Bryant WR: Jeremy Maclin, Robert Meachem RB: Darren McFadden, Michael Bush RB: Michael Turner, Daniel Thomas, Ryan Torain TE: Jimmy Graham
if you're limited to one of these guys, i guess it has to be mccoy. stewart is hurt and we don't know how much westbrook will be able to do on his own.
on a side note, if you've got the space, i'd stash away beanie.
Another vote for McCoy, but something tells me Beanie could break out this game, if he can hold onto the ball. Regardless, Beanie should not be on the waiver, I'd pick him up.
McCoy, then Beanie Wells. I was a Westbrook owner last year, and it was maddening. BW leaves just as many games 3 plays in as he sits out completely. Plus, by the beginning of the 2nd half, when the iggles are up by 30, Westbrook will have a firm hold of the bench, even if he isn't still banged up, and Philly will be running out the clock.
Wells gets into the game this week, and shows his stuff, but it won't be a Mendenhall-like effort.
