My RBs are CJ424, Mendenhall, Coffee, and White. We are only allowed to have 4 RBs on our roster, and we can only start 2 each week.. I'm thinking about dropping Coffee and L.White and adding FWP and Fred Jackson from free agents list. That way I'll have FJax to us during CJ and Mendenhalls bye weeks, week 7 and 8, Buffalo plays CAR and HOU those two weeks and they both are baad against the run. That will also give me the choice between FWP/Mendenhall in cast the Steelers give Willie his job back when he's heathy. I know I would be losing White as my handcuff for CJ, but I dont trust TENN as much as I did coming into this year now. Having CJ is great and I'll start him every week, but if he got an injury I'm not sure I'd be as confident in playing White every week for TENN...
So, what do you think? Lose my White handcuff and instead have the FWP/Mendenhall tandem to chose from instead??
Please help, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
I say do it. Coffee isn't going to do much when Gore comes back, and at the very worst you'll end up having Mendenhall's backup. In addition the only RB that you can plug into your lineup of those guys right now if F.Jax. He'll have value all year since he'll get touches regardless of how Lynch plays.
Do it, White's value has become almost nothing... He was way too high a draft pick and you will pull your hair out if you start him. Coffee has only one or two good weeks left, then it is back to the bench.
Yup, drop Coffee and White. The reasons you listed convinced me that was the move. I think FWP is DONE but at least you'll have insurance for Mendy. So actually, I think White and FWP have pretty similar value. Good luck!!
Like you said, LenDale White is worthless even if Chris Johnson gets hurt......Fred Jackson is only down on value because of Lynch but has lots of talent.......
Yeah, I like dropping these two players for FWP and FRed Jackson. I think Buffalo starts splitting carries between Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch. Lendale White needs to go.
I would drop Coffee for FJax, but would hang onto LeDale. Tennessee is fully committed to the run, and Pittsburgh has shown they will air it out when the running game tanks. and a turf-toed FWP is toast IMO.
