I've had some nice luck on the waiver wires over the previous weeks. Mendenhall threw up a dirty 30 on the board to seal my win last week! I feel like I should reward him with another start. What do you think??
WHIR 100%!!!! With full analysis!!!
Here's my current line-up for the week along with my potential options:
QB: Kurt Warner @Hou
RB1: DeAngello Williams @Was RB2: Rashard Mendenhall @Det
Flex: Knowshon Moreno @NE
WR1: Andre Johnson @Ari WR2: Steve Smith (NYG) @Oak
Kicker: Lawrence Tynes @Oak
DST: Minnesota Vikings @StL
OPTIONS @ RB: Tashard Choice @KC - is he ACTUALLY going to be the no. 1 choice this week? Jerome Harrison @Buf - can he have a repeat performance? is anyone on Cleveland worth a start?
OPTIONS @ WR: Roddy White @SF - is my R3 pick bound to break out?? Kevin Walter @Ari - has been seeing more targets than Andre ...
BONUS PICK!! I actually picked up Neil Rackers for my bench. ((mostly to irritate someone else in my league!)) He's slated to have tops in Kicker points this week, per ESPN. But I find their rankings to be LIES! It seems like Tynes should do better than predicted ... because, am I crazy, or is the Oakland D not completely terrible?
I actually disagree with the 2 people above me (sorry!, lol)
I'd throw in Harrison over Moreno, and Roddy White over Steve Smith. Eli has a hurt heel, and the Oakland Pass D is pretty good, namely Asomougha, who is the best CornerBack Smith has gone up against in his career so far.
I'd keep the lineup, but start Roddy White, he's in line for a breakout soon. And I like Moreno too, since Denver always has good rb's and a solid run game.
Nnamdi + Eli injury = low fantasy day for Smith. I expect Roddy to break out here. I'd go Moreno. Starting, and won't share many carries. Jamal Lewis may play, so that takes away touches from Harrison.
Unless your sure that Manning is 1000% switch Smith for White. If Eli is not 1000%, he may come out early or NY might just run all day.
Again, Thanks and Good Luck this week.
