Rb-WR controvery. WHIR as always

Postby mgaska84 » Thu Oct 08, 2009 3:06 pm

Standard scoring league...

I have to pick 2 rb's and a wr/rb for my slot...
Slaton vs AZ
Rice vs CIN
Moreno vs NE
J Harrison vs BUF
P Harvin vs STL
Crabtree vs ATL

Thanks

You have a hard one there. I would for sure start Rice, I am starting Harrison because Buffalo can't stop the run. I wouldn't start Crabtree yet. I like Harvin, but I think if you had a choice between a running back and wide receiver I would go RB, so I would probably pick Moreno

Moreno is going to get a lot of carries this week with Buck injured. LaMont Jordan isn't going to be used as any more than an occasional third down back to spell his counterpart.

Ray Rice has a great matchup ... even though he isn't used on the goal line. With the way Flacco is throwing in the red zone, I don't know that there will be many rushing TDs anyhow.

The flex spot is a little up in the air.
FYI: ESPN announced this morning that Crabtree will not play this week. =)
I'd give Harrison the edge over Slaton. Arizona's defense is actually pretty decent ... and I don't see Slaton catching passes in the backfield for very long
