Ugly RB2 Options... Julius Jones or LeSean McCoy? WHIR!

Postby thejusman1 » Thu Oct 08, 2009 7:00 pm

So do I go with Julia v JAC or Mini-Westbrook v. TB? At first I thought Julie for sure, but if Andy Reid is serious about a rotation, what could McCoy do with 10-12 touches? Probably a lot more than Julia's 15-20, nomsain?

WHIR 4 SURE.

Pretty even matchup. I'd lean slightly to McCoy. I've seen him get some goal line carries and a short rushing score or two. Jones has historically struggled around the goal line. I think the Seahawks/Jags game could be a shootout, but I think the Eagles bomb the Bucs. Especially if they try and protect McNabbs ribs, they will run a lot. Bucs got gashed by the Jacobs/Bradshaw combo,(plenty carries for two backs!) let Marion Barner have 79 yards (5.6 per carry) and a TD. Fred Jackson exploded for 163 yards rushing and even old man Clinton Portis squeezed out 98 yards on two iffy ankles.

In a close one I'd start McCoy.

Thanks for your help on mine!!

I would start McCoy. I expect him to get a lot of work this week as Philly creams Tampa. The Eagles are going to let Westy rest as much as possible.

I'd go with Jones barely. He's a starter so you know he'll get the carries and he's a lot better at home.

I'd start McCoy no doubt. Eagles are saving Westy for when it counts...

Mccoy. Eagles wont need much from Westy so Mccoy should benefit with the carries
