I Start 3 WR and have 4 options (6pts for TD - 1pt every 10 yrds)
I'm trying to move one for an upgrade at RB2, but in the meantime I need to choose.
Andre Johnson @ ARI Chad Ochocinco @ BAL Roddy White @ SF Steve Smith (NYG) vs OAK
Stewie: [hitting on some co-eds] I must say, the most recent campus sporting event was quite spectacular.
Co-ed: Aw. Are you in a fraternity, little boy?
Stewie: Not yet, but I'm thinking of joining I Felta Thigh.
This week, even though it seems crazy, I'd bench Steve Smith. That kid the Raiders have at DB is lock-down. He shuts out all of the greats around the league.
When you've got a bunch of good guys, you have to look to the individual match-ups, and this one is ROUGH.
I'd sit Steve Smith. I know he's leading the league in targets and receptions but I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid on him quite yet. Especially with an ailing Eli and a match-up in which they're likely to get an early lead and close it out on the ground.
it comes down to white or smith as the odd men out for me. even with smith facing assemougha, i think you have to bench white. he's off to a slow start. maybe this will be his breakout week but i'd want him to show it before i start him over any of your other options. but if eli doesnt play bench smith, no question.
If Manning plays I would bench White. 85 is a no brianer for me...you plug him in. Bal is third in the league in allowing big pass plays + coners are small + Cedric is not running against a very pissed off front line = 85 automatic stgart this week. If Eli starts I would play Smith...Nnamdi only plays on one side of scrimmage while NY moves their WR's around...I see no shut down here. White...sigh another gift from the scheduling gods. SF secondary can be beat but I see a rough day ahead for Atl. If Eli starts...Smith...if not...White.
