Should I take a goose egg at QB this week?

Postby Creamy Ballers » Fri Oct 09, 2009 1:14 am

A-Rod is on a bye but, to pick up a replacement, I'd have to drop J. Knox. I'm thinking of waiting to see how the early games go and picking up Collins or Sanchez (playing Sun and Mon, respectively) if my game is still close, and if I've already won or don't stand a chance, taking a goose egg. Any thoughts?

Not a terrible Stratagey, if your sure you can get the QB.
In a close league, overall pts could play into a tie-breaker.
Between Sanchez and Collins, I'd go Sanchez. Collins has a bad match-up vs Indy, they are very good vs the pass.
Who are your other WR, that you cannot afford to drop Knox? Will he ever start for you or is he just for Depth?
Will Knox be grabbed right away? Maybe you could get him back for the QB after the game.
If you decide to add a QB for the early games who would you go with?
Stewie: [hitting on some co-eds] I must say, the most recent campus sporting event was quite spectacular.
Co-ed: Aw. Are you in a fraternity, little boy?
Stewie: Not yet, but I'm thinking of joining I Felta Thigh.

Nobody else you can drop? I guess if you get lucky and nobody picks up Sanchez to be a dick }:-) I'd freak out and pick up someone I thought had a shot cuz It'd drive me nuts but if you can handle it, it could work or you could be 13 pts behind and Sanchez score 12. And three-quarters. Ugh.

Hope that helps...good luck! ;-D

all good thoughts, but i'm in a real tough, deep league with a small bench. my players on the bench are: gore, TO, sproles, felix jones, and knox. i think i like sanchez, too. and i am worried about my opponent being a dick and picking him up which is why i'm keeping my strategy to myself as far as the league is concerned. they're all my best buddies, which means they would team up to try to sccrew me if they knew what i was doing :) what are friends for, right?
