Never be afraid to sit studs regardless where they were drafted. (Just ask the people who played Brees against the Jets D and expected miracles. I advised them to SIT Brees for other options. They didn't, they lost.) This week I'm sitting Turner (1rst round pick) for Moreno (12th round pick). At this point in the season, track records are being established and matchups must be considered.
IMHO NE running game is lacking so they'll effectively force Brady to throw to beat them. Bailey will draw Moss and he's been very, very effective at shutting down WR's so far this year. Now it appears Fred Taylor, NE's leading rusher, may need ankle surgery (article here:
http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d ... nfirm=true) which reinforces my first sentence. Also, Bradys past knee injury, although happening last year in the first game is hurting him this year forcing him to throw off his back foot to protect the knee when under significant pressure.
The Denver D is for real and I see them effectively shutting Brady down (1 TD, maybe), especially since the game is in Denver.
On the other hand, Garrard has an effective running game with MJD which an already suspect Seattle defense must respect and he's found a new toy in Sims-Walker which opens up the passing game.
I'd play Sims-Walker, but, that being said, I've been known to be wrong before.
