Hey guys,
So I am thinking of starting both Westbrook and McCoy, rather than Steven Jackson and Westbrook. My reasoning is the following:
1) Andy Reid said he will be looking for McCoy to share even more carries with Westbrook.
2) Westbrook will probably be eased in due to coming back from an ankle injury.
3) The Eagles are against Tampa Bay, who have a poor rush defense.
4) McNabb is coming back from a rib injury, so he will probably be eased in as well, having the Eagles depend on the ground game more.
5) If the Eagles get ahead early, it may be the McCoy show the rest of the game.
6) My other options are Steven Jackson and Beanie Wells (due to byes). Jackson is facing Minnesota, one of the top rush defenses, with his starting quarterback and wide receiver out (as well as nicked up other receivers). He will be the only major threat that the Rams have to employ and the only one Minnesota need worry about. Also, Minnesota has yet to allow a rushing or receiving touchdown from opposing RB's this season. I like Beanie's match-up (Texans), but he has still not established himself and may be too risky to expect to breakout this week.
What do you think? Am I crazy? I also have Celek, so I am hoping that between the three of them I will get at least 1 touchdown.
