Trade - De. Jackson and R. Grant for Frank Gore - WHIR

Postby dawg17 » Fri Oct 09, 2009 4:23 pm

Guys I need help bad.

Typical league scoring with no points for receptions

I have Frank Gore and someone has offered me Deshaun Jackson and Ryan Grant for Gore.

Should I do it, don't know how long he'll give me. On the outside I think it looks good, but with Mcnabb coming back and west brook does it hurt Jackson's value

WHIR

Rest of roster is:
1 QB/2 RB's/2 WR's/1 RB WR Flex/ 1 TE/ 1 K

Manning/Cutler
RB's - MJD/Gore/K. Smith/Ced Benson/Cadillac/Chester Taylor
WR's - V. Jackson/D. Driver/T. Holt/B. Edwards
TE's - J. Schockey/D. Rosario
Def - Ravens
K - Longwell

I am not a believer in Gore ever staying healthy, so I would do this trade. Grant is a warrior, and Deshaun is a big play guy that will not be hurt by Westbrook if anything he will be better off. There is no one else in Philly besides Celek to catch the ball.

Would help to see the rest of your roster though.

I dont think its enough to sell Gore... Grant is T.R.A.S.H, in my opinion... since coming to the NFL Gore has been pretty durable actually. I would try to trade for Coffee once Gore gets back to healthy and rips off another good game with Cofee getting no carries.

I would say NAY..

Thanks for your help on mine.... I actually had a follow up question though at the end of the chain. Maybe you missed that. Regarding, Bradshaw over Brown.

Any opinion regarding that would be helpful, even though I already made the decision.

Thanks again!

Gore if a featured back in a run first offense. Grant is a featured back in a passing offense. Jackson is in a pass heavy also but surrounded by a lot of talent. I dont think this would be enough to pry Gore away from me. I say pickup Coffee and be happy with it.

I would rather have D. Jackson and Grant. I think you have enough depth at RB to be okay

I say you do it. I think Jackson could be a borderline #1 WR for fantasy purposes when McNabb's back, and the difference between Gore and Grant isn't that huge a drop.

As a Gore owner, I would definately take that trade. Jackson is a top teir receiver and Gore is an injury nightmare.

I would do this trade. Your RB depth looks great and you could use another WR.
