Roster? League Type? League Settings? League Size?

Pure value I say take it, what you lose going from Jacobs to Bradshaw is made up with a top WR like Jennings. But depending on your RB situation you may not be able to and depending on your WR situation you may not HAVE to.

A big thanks to deluxe_247 for the sweet sig!

I wouldn't do this either - can't move your RB1 w/ what you have behind him & you're solid at WR already - that said, I would try and swing a deal for Bradshaw - Jacobs is always going to be a significant injury risk w/ the way he plays.

i would take that trade in 2 seconds.

here is why. You still have parker and thomas jones.

Parker is still the starting Tailback, even though rashard is likely going to see more in the future.

Bradshaw is already close to a 50-50 time share with jacobs, looks sorta like this. !6-12 and increasing for bradshaw. Though bradshaw has the low end of the carries, he is doing much more with his carries and just about totaling Jacobs numbers with less carries..sometimes more. It will be a true 50-50 split soon with jacobs and bradshaw, though jacobs is likely to see more goaline carries due to his size, but i see that can change soon to even.

Jennings on the other hand is a WR waiting to break out again this season. Fitzgerald is in the same boat.

If I were you and if this is not a dynasty league..I would try to trade Fitzgerald for an elite RB after you make that trade.

Jacobs is losing his value in my book. Id much rather have bradshaw and a WR1 like jennings over jacobs anyday.

make the trade and then trade again for another RB thats better then jacobs

Why it is arguable to make the trade or not, I have to say this is another reason why i like bradshaw better..jacobs is an injury risk as well.

I would still make the trade, and then try to trade up another WR for a monster RB ..like combine jones with jennings maybe

I like Bradshaw as much as the next guy - I think he holds immense value.

That said, IMO Jacobs is still the more valubale of the 2 at this point, Bradshaw's value is directly tied to Jacobs health.

Fitz, Smith, Mason, and S. Moss is a pretty solid WR corps - Jennings isn't a need here.

Jones, Parker, Stewart, and Choice doesn't instill confidence as a RB stable...

Jones is stuck in a major time share (and bluntly, has looked awful w/ the exception of week 1 @ HOU)

Paker is hurt - he has turf toe (a devastating injury to a RB), his O line still isn't all that good, Mendenhall is going to steal carries, and Moore is their 3rd down/pass situation back.

Stewart has sucked, Carolina has looked bad, and he's behind Williams

Choice is the 3rd back in Dallas when Felix and Barber are healthy.

Getting rid of Jacobs leaves you extremely thin (at an already thin position).

Now if you could move a RB not named Jacobs + a WR not named Fitz for Bradshaw & Jennings - I'd do that in a hearbeat.

i understand he would be thin after the trade and really doenst need a wr at this point, but i really think bradshaws value isnt directly tied to jacobs health

Bradshaw
47 carries 265yds - 5.6YPC

jacobs

79 carries 288yds - 3.6YPC

jacobs also has 3 rec for 13yds
bradshaw has 2 for 19yds

I see an even split coming forward here. Especially after the oakland game. Oakland tends to shut down big back like jacobs..they are pretty big believe it or not...they tend to crumble with faster backs like bradshaw. I see bradshaw with the bigger game if healthy.

Comon no..Jacobs has 79 to bradshaws 47 and bradshaw clearly is the better back here, the giants realize this.

make the trade, then try to trade one of your WRs combined with thomas jones for a better back.
