If your just taking WR into consideration, they have the same amount of points for the year. But I think Knox has pretty much taken over return duties. In our league we get 1 pt/ 15 yards for returns. Adding to that, he seems to be one of Cutler's favorite receivers.
I need to decide before Sunday's games, because once Sunday's games start, he goes on waivers, and then I might not be able to get him... if someone else wants him off his bye week.
I hate all of Chicago's receivers, and I'm the owner of two of them.
How can you start any of these guys with confidence? Hester, with a dream match-up, caught 1 pass for 2 yards. Other starting receiver Earl Bennett had 2 catches for 32 yards. Johnny Knox didn't do much better, catching 5 passes for 31 yards.
Your not putting returns into consideration... But your right, Hester hasn't been that consistent. That dream matchup your talking about, be fair. Hester got knocked out of the game due to an injury... injuries happen. You can't do anything about that... Lets put it this way. In 4 games in my league this is the points they would have gotten me:

Hester got hurt in the Detroit game - got hurt on the play where he got his one catch - which was a redzone look BTW - he got blow'd the F up at about the 5 on a screen pass.
Kate Upton's Husband - dead Mr. Blonde - champ Yo Soy Fiesta - dead Old South - champ Full of Fanta Tonight - champ Sex Panther (SB) - dead Sex Panther (FF) - dead Sex Panther (IBL) - dead Sex Panther (Dynasty) dead
reason: knox has the return duties. Thats a slight edge.
2 speedsters like that will keep any defense busy with cutlers arm. I still think there is slightly more devensive attention towards hester, which leaves Knox the better WR. Hes a young rookie with alot to prove still.
Go with knox.
in fact, i really dont think you would be wrong going with hester either. Its about even in my eyes
Ok, let's clear up the return duties issue first. Hester returns punts, Knox returns kickoffs, so you're about even there. Both have big play ability, but Hester is the guy that "no one wants to let beat them". The problem with the Bears receiving corps is that Cutler is an equal opportunity QB so far - the open man or the hot hand gets the ball, he doesn't have a "favorite". That makes them fun for me and my fellow Bears fans to watch, but absolutely maddening for fantasy owners. Based purely on the number of snaps they'll see, I'd take Hester. But it's close. Good luck!
