Originally I offered Joe Flacco and Pierre Garcon for Drew Brees.
I already have Matt Schaub, so I'm giving up 2 of my bench players. They get Flacco who's been consistant and plays for a team who's defense will keep him on the field. He's also outscoring Brees. Brees had a great couple weeks to start out the year but is that something that will keep up? The last couple weeks would indicate otherwise... and with Pierre Thomas back, will the passing game in NO be emphasised as much?
Well.. I figured if they'd take that, I'd be making out since I don't mind taking the chance on Brees and I already have Schaub.
That got rejected and here's the counter offer.
Their Drew Brees and Kellen Winslow for my Joe Flacco, Pierre Thomas, and Antonio Gates.
I'm having flashbacks to last season where Brees helped me win the championship. But... my QB situation is in great shape as it is. Is acquiring Brees, in my situation, worth swapping Antonio Gates for Kellen Winslow?
I'm really thinking I have to pass on this offer, but it's so hard saying no to Brees.
Thoughts?
