I just got a trade proposal of my Drew Brees for his Deangelo Williams. I countered with my McNaab for his MJD which he rejected and said "what if I offered someone else to sweeten the Brees deal?"
Below are both of our rosters, I'm hurting at RB right now with Gore and McFadden injured and my receivers and TE are pretty weak too. He is stacked at RB and is trying to upgrade his QB.
I'm a little nervous about both McNabb's health and Brees' recent performance. I think Brees has more upside, but McNaab should be a serviceable QB going forward so it might be worth it to get an upgrade at RB and at WR.
I don't know a lot about DeAngelo other than he loses some carries to Stewart and Carolina falls behind in games and has to give up the run.
What would a reasonable proposal be?
I was thinking something along the lines of my Brees/Holt/Winslow for his MJD/Ward/Clark (i doubt he'd go for that though) or trying to go McNabb for Williams straight up. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Turns out MJD is a dealbreaker for him even if he gets Brees in return. I want to get as much Should I try for McNabb/Winslow for DeAngelo/Clark?
I figure he will probably reject that, but then I can sweeten it by offereing Brees/Winslow for DeAngelo/Clark
Or do you think I'd have to throw in a marginal player like Bush or Holt to get this one done?
i.e. McNaab/Winslow/(Hester or Bush) for DeAngelo/Clark
Am I hoping for too much here?
What do you think McFadden's value is for the rest of the season? Is he worth throwing in just to get the deal done or do you expect him to go back to a RB2 status when he gets healthy again?
Am I undervaluing DeAngelo?

i think you are undervaluing him. Yes he splits and carolina is down, but alot of people have him as undervalued. Stewart has been a target of injuries and coming off a bye, i see nothing but d williams tearing it up. If there defense can just hold off a little bit, the staff has delhomme as a interception prone so they would run it more often than pass. GL
also i think itd benefit you more than the other person for brees/winslow for williams/clark

Yeah, turns out he won't trade Clark either, so I offered him McNabb/Holt for Williams/Ward, thinking he would negotiate up to one of my better receivers rather than holt. The offer is dead now though, he just accepted a trade with another team of Williams/Ward for Schaub/S. Rice.
