Sit Megatron??

Postby PackersForever » Sat Oct 10, 2009 6:24 am

I can start 3 receivers. I've got Andre Johnson, Hines Ward and CJ. But, I've also got Kevin Walter, Kenny Britt and Austin Collie on my bench. Do I dare plug one of these 3 in for CJ who's facing a tough Pittsburgh D?

Walter @ Ariz.
Britt vs. Indy
Collie @ Tenn.

I dont think U can sit Johnson but if you do I guess I would go with Walter, should be a shootout.

Always hard to sit a stud. I made myself sit Colston last week, but it's be hard to start 2 rec's from same team. Collie will probably score (Tenn secondary sucks I hate to say because I live in Nashville) Britt is racking up yards but no score. Pitt is weak w/out Troy and CJ is athletic, and whoever's QBing will target him. I'd play him

NO WAY. If he reports healthy enough to play, as he is expected to, go. His injury, as I know it, is a bruised thigh. That should not be enough to stop him from receiving TD's from Culp. Check last year's stats. CJ is a go, if they let him.

This is tough one.

Detroit will likely be down big, so CJ will get his chances, Troy P(not gonna try) is out so you would have that going for you.

Walter could have a good showing as this likely to be a shootout, but schaub has a lot of weapons and any of them could get overlooked if the coverage forces it. Schaub throws TDs with AJ and Walter you will have assurance to get a few.

This is a big pride game for Tenn. so they will likely gameplan to keep it away from Peyton which would mean a big dose of Chris Johnson, if Tenn gets down big though you will have a similar situation to CJ, which CJ would win.

Collie and Garcon seem to be swapping weeks, it could be Garcon's turn. I think it is hard to start essentailly a #3(clark is pretty much the #2 even thought he is a TE) when you have a #1 available. Plus if they go up big they could even put Baskett in the mix

I'd still go with CJ, then Walter, Collie then Britt
