Pick Three RBs to start.

Postby bjmacdow » Sat Oct 10, 2009 10:36 am

Pick three running backs. The emergence of Mendenhall has created a good problem for me. Thanks. WHIR!

I have Adrian Peterson, Ronnie Brown, Brandon Jacobs, and Rashard Mendenhall.

I think right now I start AP, Ronnie and I am split on Jacobs and Mendenhall. I think Mendenhall as he is not splitting carries like Jacobs and is running against Detroit. However, my fantasy site suggests that Jacobs is going to have a better day so it is causing me to think. Any thoughts you have are appreciated.

Thanks and WHIR!

Peterson, Brown and Mendenhall. Would not be surprised to see Mendenhall have the best game.

I'd actually go AP, Jacobs and Medenhall, heres my logic.

AP is a no brainer.

The Giants should beat on the Raiders, Eli is hurting so he will likely lean on the running game quite a bit, Jacobs also feels he has something to prove as he has not been running well and this is a great team to step up against. The Giants could also have the game sealed by the second half and could grind away the game with the run.

Mendenhall blew up last week and will look to do it again against a weak defense, he will also get the full load with Parker out.

The Jets will focus on stopping Brown and Williams and make Henne throw, Rex Ryan defenses successfully shutdown the wildcat twice last season and he certainly has the weapons to do it again, this is also Calvin Pace's first game back so we will be seeing the full starting defense for the first time and they have already looked great with Gholston filling in for Pace. I think this is a safe week to sit Brown.
