Best shot at a hat trick

I play a weekly game with my buddies and we pick any 5 players, whoever has the most TD's wins the weekly pot of $50 (10 guys, $5 each)

Got any ideas who has the best shot at 3 TD's this week, besides Peyton?

I have a handful of guys that may get 2.

I could see either or both of Kurt Warner or Matt Schaub ending up with 3

Yeh, Iove Warner this week.

Oh yeh, forgot to mention that once you use your 5 players, you cannot use them for the rest of the year, kinda puts some strategy into it.

I also think Westbrook has 2 score againstTB this week. He has always been great coming off bye weeks.

For starters I would use Mendenhall for sure. I'm guessing you didn't last week and this may be the last time he gets 100% of the carries. Not to mention he faces DET. I'll post more when they come to mind.

I'm trying to find people you can plug in this week who don't seem to have much use in the long run like Mendenhall. The downside is that there may be better options obviously. You could try rolling with Coffee since this will probably be his last start. If you want a sure thing I would go with Deangelo Williams/ Chris Johnson/ MJD. Jacobs is also a very good bet for 2 TD's against OAK.

If I was playing this game I would play Roethlisberger, Wayne, Jacobs, Hightower, and Fred Jackson.

Well let's see. Jacobs could be in for a few, Manning is hurt so they're going to want to take the pressure off of him as much as possible, not to mention his best receiver is facing off with Nnamdi. O... it's the Raiders - Giants should be up big and run the ball. You probably wouldn't think a TE, but Keller should have a good game, I think 2 TDs is definitely possible, with Cotchery looking unlikely to play and Edwards still trying to learn the system, Keller all of a sudden becomes the number 1 option.

... couple more thoughts maybe... Portis? Does he get it going? May not have all that much value in this sort of thing later in the year, so use him now with his cake matchup? McGahee - Cincinnati's rush D is pretty decent, but Baltimore's offense has been on fire thus far. Flacco and Co. will get there, Willis will punch it in. Alright I'm out of ideas.

Ah. Good point there. The only reason I might take Keller over him is because I think clark holds just as much value now as he does later in the year, whereas when Cotchery is completely healthy and Edwards is in full swing with the offense Keller's targets might drop, not to mention Miami can't cover the TE. I suppose the way I'm looking at it is that if you use the options that hold more value now than later you could pick up quite a few winning weeks in a row later in the year when the other league members have used up all the studs.
