Trade Involving Brees and Brady?

Postby jarobert » Mon Oct 12, 2009 10:17 am

I give Brady, Westbrook, and Manningham

I get Brees, Jonathan Stewart, and Boldin

This is an easy win for me right?

My other RBs are Benson, Grant, and Mendenhall

My WR are thin with Calvin Johnson (hurt?), Desean Jackson, Manningham, and Harvin.

Easy win

Brees > Brady
Stewart < Westbrook (though the latter is always an injury concern)
Boldin > Manningham

Do it.

Bump. Any opinions?

It seems like an easy win but Boldin doesn't has competition for looks and losing Westbrook gives me only two guaranteed starters at RB (We only start 2)

But you could lose Westbrook at any point, he's to injury prone. I think you have to take it, though I like Manningham, Boldin has proven himself and we know AZ will pass. Take the deal.

Would the deal be better for me if could replace Manningham with Percy Harvin? Manningham left Sunday's game with a chest contusion so he may be less attractive?

well it depends on if he's healthy, I think Manningham has better potential if healthy, Favre has more mouths to feed.

Eh

Boldin => Manningham
Brees > Brady (so it seems - off a bye)
Westbrook = Stewart (sorry with his downside, Williams fumbled a few times and Stewart is looking good, I'm starting to think we might see a Marion Barber type of back who is a goal line vulture). He's young and a DWill injury away from vaulting into the top ten of fantasy backs.

I don't think Boldin is leaps and bounds ahead of Manny, but the QB upgrade here is worth the deal. The other peices are close with upside in your favor.

Go for it dude.
