I'm not sure if this would help you that much. Yes, Kevin Smith is a catching back, but this is a heavy WR league.

I would be happy with Donald Brown and my #2 guy. He's getting plenty of touches, lots of catches, and has been average nearly identical numbers as Kevin Smith. I think if you traded Steve away, you'd have to fill a really big gap.

I say no go. Help with mine? viewtopic.php?f=18&t=454512&p=3118041#p3118041

Smith is a definite upgrade over Brown (although I like Brown's future). Could you sell a trade for Boldin instead? He's struggling but his name alone might do the trick. I'd just be a bit worried because Jennings and Boldin are both down a bit and if they don't return to form you could seriously miss a guy like Smith.

I don't think S Smith will keep up this pace, so it is a good time to sell high. I just worry about where your WR corps would be after that.

If you feel confident in Jennings and Boldin, then go for it. K Smith is legit. But if you have questions about your WRs you might hang on to Steve.

Good luck, and please see mine:

This isn't a keeper league so I need Donald Brown to perform NOW. My WR's after the trade would be Jennings, Boldin, Bess and Wallace.

I say go for it. Kevin Smith is a great back and put in some claims for the new hot WW guys (maclin & miles austin) to make up for the loss of steve smith. i'd say depending on the level of replacement WR, you win out big-time, because production wise the swap favors you heavily.
