Looking to package Winslow for upgrade in Flex

Postby smitty42 » Mon Oct 12, 2009 5:29 pm

Looking to sell Winslow in a package for an upgrade at either running back or receiver.

I was thinking either Winslow and Berrian or Winslow and Bush for an upgrade at my flex position.

Can you help me with a trade? These teams could use an upgrade at TE.

Option A:
WR: Bowe, Smith (Car), Avery
RB: Westbrook, Jacobs, Mcgahee, Johnson
TE: Cooley, Miller

Option B:
WR: Ocho cinco, Evans, Jennings
RB: Jones-Drew, Barber, Jackson, Ward
TE: Keller

Option C:
WR: Ward, A Johnson, S Moss
RB: Brown, Williams, Bradshaw
TE: Daniels

Option D:
WR: Johnson, Harvin, Owens, Royal, Walter
RB: Addai, Hightower, Forte, Jones
TE: Celek, Olsen
PPR league .5 per reception, 10 yards per point reception

QB(1): Rothlisberger, Ryan
RB(2): C Johnson, Gore,
WR (2): Boldin, Marshall
TE(1): Gates, Winslow
Flex (1): Bush, Morris, Berrian, Knox
K: Kaeding
Def: San Diego

That's Larry Johnson, right?

You might be able to land him, Jacobs, or McGahee. But no primary back can be had for that type of package. LJ has hardly performed so far but has a soft schedule here the next few games I think and then has some good playoff matchups.

I doubt option C will trade with only 3 RBs on his roster. I'm assuming that's freddy jackson. IMO Option A needs to stop carrying 2 TEs and grab another WR for depth.

You might could offer him Winslow, Bush, and Berrian might could possibly land you Cooley and that upgraded flex spot, perhaps. Perhaps Winslow, Bush and Berrian for Cooley and Larry Johnson. Nice medium risk/medium reward. Plus this option here needs WRs in the worst way. Avery come on already get it together GM! I doubt Option B would trade seeing as they only have 2 starting/startable backs.

Option D has nice depth and doesn't need a TE upgrade. KWJr doesn't represent a perceived upgrade to what he has. You might could snag Thomas Jones or TO on the low from him, but I wouldn't bet the farm.

Send out some feelers and let us know what happens.
