Trade DeSean for Bradshaw and Breaston? WHIR

Postby THEOT » Mon Oct 12, 2009 8:43 pm

In a PPR Dynasty where all TDs are 6 pts. We start 11 spots, QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, W/R, W/T, TE, K, Def, ST

Just what it says, have an offer for Desean Jackson and I get Bradshaw and Breaston. I think I gotta take it, just have to drop Massaquoi I think. Could use a gut check, thanks in advance, WHIR.

Here's my roster

QB - Brees, Rivers, Sanchez
RB - MJD, Rice, Slaton, Moreno, McCoy
WR - AJ, DJax, White, Welker, Massaquoi, Knox
TE - Carlson, Keller
K - Scobee
DEF - DEN
ST - DET

The dynasty factor makes it tough. Bradshaw is a damn good running back. He's gonna be a stud whenever he gets a starting job. Another dynasty factor to think about is Breaston next year. If Boldin leaves, Breaston will be the #2 in an explosive ARI offense.

Tough decision, but I think I'd do it. You have enough WR depth that losing Jackson isn't catastrophic, and I like Bradshaw's future prospects a lot.

This year I like DeSean better. If you are already looking to the future instead of this year, then I would probably do the deal.

Eh Warner gone eventually. Breaston doing minimal damage. I wouldn't just drop Massaquoi unless there are no prospect WR available.

So the whole trade is Djax/moma for Bradshaw/Breaston. Ahmad seems to be beneficating from being the 2nd back. Where would he start? he's turning MBIII early in his career. Then he became a feature back had 1 good season and then is not completely trusted in a full time lead role. Dallas has playmakers behind him.

You have a sick young team.

I like the idea of Bradshaw I'd probably do it and cut Keller.

I would probably take that trade. Bradshaw has been great, and although he probably won't get that starting job just yet he def will in the future. Even as a 2nd back he has been putting up good fantasy number and could be in line to get some extra touches with jacobs struggling and eli's injury. Jackson is good but a little hit or miss and with maclin and celek coming on and westbrook back from injury he may see less targets. Breaston has been good not great but with Boldin struggling Breaston has seemed to get more targets from Warner in recent weeks so i would pull the trigger.

I would. You are giving up a started, but gaining two starters. Breaston will have a bigger role within a year or two as will Bradshaw. This may not get you more points this year, but will be better for you in the future.

Little Help?
