Trade Ahmad Bradshaw? WHIR

Postby dgcesq » Mon Oct 12, 2009 10:10 pm

I grabbed AB thinking that eventually he'd have a blowoout game and I could trade him at high value. He certainly had that this weekend! I don't think anything has changed in NY - but Jacobs seems to be struggling, and I'm wondering if AB is about to get the rock more.

If it's time to trade AB, I want to try to get a premium for him. B/c of his big week, he's got 59 points on the year in my Yahoo standard scoring league. This doesn't get me a Steve Smith or Andre Johnson. But the guy with Jacobs has Chad Ochocinco, and CIN is surprisingly ood this year. Other players in this rane are Roddy White, Fitzgerald (no one would make that trade, though), Johnny Knox (I start Jay Cutler, too). Who should I aim for?

QB: Cutler, Favre
RB: Forte, Slaton, Addai, Bradshaw
WR: Colston, Berrian, Sims-Walker, Marshall, M. Austin
TE: Gonzalez
K: Bironas
DST: Dallas

Well, defintely not Knox, as that would just be a gift to the other owner. What are the starting lineups like in your league? In a way, I'm leaning towards telling you to keep him, as I think you would be pretty thin at RB without him and you have 3 solid receivers (Colston, Marshall, Sims-Walker) but would like a little more info first.

I'd go with Roddy White or Ochocinco, I think I'd lean toward Ochocinco because Palmer is looking good again but so is Matt Ryan so I think you are alright with either one at this point.

Dude, you don't need ANOTHER WR, you need ANOTHER RB or stay put and you'll be ok.

Stay put dude. Bradshaw is a beast and Jacobs can't even average 3.7 yds/carry on a team that has one of the best o-line's in the league. Obviously something is wrong with Jacobs and unless he does a 180 here soon, there could be a change coming in East Rutherford...

Worst case scenario is the Giants' backfield stays status-quo where Bradshaw continues to carve-up defenses left and right...

This reminds me that I need to change the image in my signature.
