Time to drop these players?

Postby Mercury0021 » Mon Oct 12, 2009 11:53 pm

Is it time to drop Choice? After the bye week Felix jones will be back and barber even healthier.
And Jerome Harrison? Even with Lewis coming off a hammy He got 31 touches to harrison's 8...
thoughts?

I also have choice. And was trying to decide to keep or drop him.

It all depends who is on the wavier wire. Kinda early to say on Harrison. Lewis is not the future of that team anymore. So maybe Harrison could see more and more carries as the season goes on.. Hard to sya

Waiver rules, you are allotted 3 waivers for the whole year, but players are not limited per waiver use{you can drop your whole team and pick up a whole new team as long as it is same day counts as 1 waiver). Priority based off if you lost the past week, lowest score for a losing team has top priority. I lost this week, but scored the 2nd most points out of the losing teams so i'm 5th in priority.

I've used 1 waiver thus far.

I've lived dangerously so far keeping 1 qb on roster, thinking i should get chad henne, he plays tampa when shaub has bye week.

QB availible:Campbell, Jason QB WAS
Hill, Shaun QB SF
Stafford, Matthew QB DET
Delhomme, Jake QB CAR
Henne, Chad QB MIA
Johnson, Josh QB TB
Boller, Kyle QB STL

RB
Not much in way of running backs on free agency chester taylor is the top scorer on our FA list.

WR
I don't really need any WR's but i could drop some RB dead weight and use to trade, except not many people are keen on trading.

top 11 WR on FA {in way of points scored thus far}:
Collie, Austin WR IND
Knox, Johnny WR CHI
Jones, Jacoby WR HOU
Maclin, Jeremy WR PHI
Caldwell, Andre WR CIN
Henderson, Devery WR NO
Wade, Bobby WR KC
Nicks, Hakeem WR NYG
Wallace, Mike WR PIT
Washington, Kelley WR BAL
Morgan, Josh WR SF
other interesting WR's on FA: Britt, Kenny WR
Bennett, Earl WR CH
Henry, Chris WR CIN
Massaquoi, Mohamed WR CLE

I need a new kicker, thinking about picking up gould since he has had his bye week already and hauschak hasn't.

i'm carring the 2 defenses bc someone would scoop denver up and keep them before i could fill them in week 10 for giants bye week and denver has a decent match up against washington that week.

Harrison really let you down and I'm sorry. I still want you to post FA RBs. You need another starter. Why don't you have any starting RBs? Man. Bro you have some sick WRs you need to trade quick. In your shoes you kinda have to hang onto Choice. I would drop harrison though for something. Caddy is your lone starter. Mendy should start but when Parker comes back eh, whos to know.

I'd offer sims-walker, braylon and lendale/beanie and see if you can land some kind of #1 RB.

Your best bet is to trade.

Please post FA RBs anyway. Don't sort by score....that won't often find you a sleeper. Is Mike Bush available? He's starting at least. Post fa RBs.

For a back up QB I'd go wtih Stafford or Henne.

yea i took CJ and moss 1-2 and colston was left in the 3rd round i really couldn't pass up a #1 wr that has Brees to throw to him in the 3rd round... Then i thought i'd get some goal line vulture backs to compensate but they decided not to be vultures this year. Not to mention oakland decided that almost winning week 1 with running DMC was to close to winning so they said hey lets try to throw the ball early instead and get down by 20....

Yeah harrison messed me over this week i should have switched choice in when lewis was announced able to play.... either way i would of lost though.

the only really stacked team at RB that would trade by my presumptions has: C Benson, M Jones-Drew, F Gore, R Rice. Who would you target and who would you give up? This person also likes to keep a good stock of RB's though.

I'd consider stashing Shonn Green for later.
