Waiver Wire - Great Options - WHIR!!!

Postby Haypress » Tue Oct 13, 2009 8:49 am

Whats going on everyone, Im 2nd on waivers and im debating who I should pick up on the wire. To give you a little lowdown, im 4-1 in a 12 man Non-ppr League and I need a WR to sub in on my upcoming bye weeks, here is my roster. We start QB, 3 WR's, 2 RB's, K, D/ST. (See my sig for roster)

Waiver Wire:
RB - Ahmad Bradshaw - Dont know why he got dropped but thinking of maybe picking him up and then selling him high for a better WR than those on the wire
WR - Miles Austin
WR - Jeremy Maclin
WR - Austin Collie

I am 2nd on waivers so I assume Bradshaw will be the first to get picked.

Any 3 of those WR's would work as they could be filled in in the bye weeks of my top 3 Wideouts (Who knows if Massaquoi will perform again). Should I put my first waiver in for Bradshaw? Or a Wide Receiver? And out of those 3 which WR do you like best

Out of those three, I like Austin best. The Colts are really clicking right now. Austin would be next for me, although Williams is going to get some looks when he comes back.

I would still put in the waivers for Bradshaw, you never know.

I think I'd take a shot at miles austin, he could become a viable option.

I don't think i would trust another Colts receiver again, i tried Garcon a few weeks ago and he didn't seem to be consistent at all. I think Manning just likes too mainly hit Wayne and Clark, anyone else on the Colts will just have random blow up weeks and i don't think their worth starting anymore. Might still be worth a pick up and try too make a quick trade happen.

Personally im going through this as well but without Bradshaw, I am considering Maclin although im still not sure. if your strapped for WR like i am, id go for someone other than Bradshaw, if not id go Bradshaw for sure.

Still on the fence, appreciate the insight guys

Still thinking I might put in that first waiver for Bradshaw and then maybe sell him for a WR, or do we think I should skip Bradshaw and pickup another Wideout, thoughts? (Roster is in the signature)

Waiver Wire WR
WR - Miles Austin
WR - Jeremy Maclin
WR - Austin Collie
WR - Anthony Gonzalez
WR - Lance Moore

Bradshaw
then Austin

Try selling both in my opinion as soon as you pick them up.
