Thinking of offering this trade *WHIR*

Postby THE SWAT TEAM » Tue Oct 13, 2009 9:02 am

Standard scoring league.

I offer Boldin, Warner and Deangelo Williams

I hopefully receive Eli Manning, Ocho Cinco and Larry Johnson (yes I know he has sucked but with his last 3 games being vs Buffalo, Cleveland and Cincinnati) he is more a play for the playoff games.

I know that I may be offering a lot here, but you must consider that I have Carson Palmer and Mario Manningham at this point. Manning and Ocho Cinco would fit nicely into my roster.

Any thoughts?

The way I see it, Manning might be sitting towards the end of the season once they have a playoff spot locked up. Also, without checking the game logs, I seem to remember Manning doing most of his fantasy work in the first half of the season in seasons past. Warner and Boldin will probably be starting until the end due to their schedule. LJ is trash. He could be playing against a high school team and still only get 30 yards. I think you need to get a better RB out of this deal.

I agree with this guy 100 %. You don't need any of the players you are trying to trade for. Boldin will be top 10 by the end of the year. Warner will also be top 10 by the end of the year. Don't trade them. Yeah it sucks your stuck with Williams. I traded him before the season in my Dynasty league. But you'll just have to hope he starts playing better. Actually the whole Panther team needs to play better. But until Williams does better I wouldn't trade him.

I agree I don't like this deal for you for many of the reasons listed. I think DAW could still have value in the playoffs if Carolina turns it around and maybe fights for a Wildcard spot, though that's going to be tough to get in the NFC.

Keep what you got. I don't think you gain much with Manning over Warner. Ocho and Boldin are a wash, and you are losing way too much with Williams. Johnson is getting old and is in a terrible O. Stay put.

Little Help?
