Celek/Lynch/R. Moss for Ca. Johnson/Slaton/J. Stewart

Postby bale » Tue Oct 13, 2009 9:04 am

My TE and most of my WRs are on a bye in week 7, so I am trying to shore up my roster for that. I am also trying to get some worth out of Calvin Johnson. The other manager has told me that Celek and Lynch are available. Good trade for me? Would you do it if you were the other team? Thanks in advance. WHIR.

My team:

10 man, standard-ish scoring
QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R/T, K

M. Schaub, J. Flacco
A. Johnson, C, Johnson, R. White, A. Bryant
MJD, K. Smith, S. Slaton J. Stewart, Moreno, A. Bradshaw, D. Ward
T. Heap
M. Prater

His team:
Rodgers, Orton
R. Moss, S. Smith (NYG), Ochocinco,Walter
Turner, Lynch, Barber, Addai, Brown
Celek, Olsen
Yay for Offensive Coordinators!!!

Read this wrong, so gonna retype my response! Since you have incredible depth at RB as is, and Moss has a much better QB throwing to him than Calvin does (not to mention Calvin has been hit or miss all season) I would go ahead and pull the trigger on this trade. Celek is a much better TE than Heap imo and you can afford to give up a man like Slaton at this point to cover your byes. Lynch isnt a huge upgrade but since J Stewart has had achilles problems all season long, you could benefit from this in the long run. I like the trade, id do it.

Thanks for the help on mine.
