Time to drop Lee Evans? Austin, Burleson, Maclin, Bowe on WW

It looks like it's time to dump Lee Evans, who seems to be in for a bust year. Adding TO to the Bills receiving corps hasn't helped out Evans like I thought it would, and the Bills are just generally DREADFUL (especially on offense). Assuming that it is a good idea to get rid of the dead weight that is Evans, there are some quality receivers available on the waiver wire in my league. Out of the crop I am about to list, who would you choose? :

Miles Austin, Dallas
Nate Burleson, Sea
Derrick Mason, Bal
Austin Collie, Ind
Jeremy Maclin, Eagles
Dwayne Bowe, Chiefs

For info purposes, my other receivers are Reggie Wayne, Desean Jackson, and Antonio Bryant, and I'm in a ten team performance based league..We start 2 receivers each week and no flex..

I'm leaning toward Bowe and Burleson; I'm actually surprised someone gave up on someone as talented as Bowe already....Wayne has a bye this week, so I'd like to be able to plug in whoever I pick up this week..Bowe and Burleson both have decent matchups (Bowe @ Wash, Burleson @ Arizona)

Thanks in advance!

bump...

just some other things to consider regarding the two guys I am most interested in

Burleson has been targeted 49 times by his QB, Bowe only 24

Bowe scored a TD in 3 out of his 4 games, Burleson scored in 2 of his 5 (2 tds vs JAX)

Bowe is the true #1 on his team

Burleson is very injury-prone...Bowe is yet to miss a game in his career (in his third year)

Seahawks 241 passing yards per game thus far....Chiefs 162

Some of Bowe's good matchups coming up this season: @ Wash, @JAX, @ Oakland, vs Buf, vs Clev, ......
Tougher matchups: vs SD, vs PIT, @SD, DEN, @CIN, @DEN

Good for Burleson: Arizona, DET, @ARIZ, @STL, @Houston, vs TB, vs TEN
Tougher matchups for Burleson: @Dal, @MIN, San Fran, @ Green Bay

Interesting stuff...I like Burleson's targeted numbers as well as his upcoming schedule, probably slightly leaning in his direction but not by much

Thanks in advance again...

Thanks for the help with mine....

I may get slapped at this comment but, Bowe is on a bad team. I would say either Burleson or Mason. I like Mason because Flacco can throw and likes to throw to him. Baltimore also has a good offensive line/RB's giving Flacco time to throw. That should keep the opposing teams D honest opening up Mason for more catches. I say Mason... 8-o

I would drop him in a hearbeat and grab Bowe or Burleson. I don't really like either to be a top wr, but as far as a bye week fill in if needed, or to fill in for injury I would have to go with Bowe. He is on a bad team and is the main target. Burleson has had one good year in his career and spent the rest of the time on the injured list. Good luck.

One part of me is thinking I should go with you and grab Bowe - he's the #1 WR, who is younger, more athletic, has more upside, more of a goal line threat, etc., but Burleson's numbers this year are hard to ignore..He has 30 catches (4 or more in every game) targeted 49 times, AND he has some really good matchups coming up this season...this is really a tough one, I think both guys should be decent from here on out, and DEFINITELY worth dropping Evans' sorry butt for....

hmmm....I'll probably go with my instinct and grab Bowe
